Image of the FHTCThere are more than 25 lakhs of Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) provided across the state of Assam.
As per the mandate of Jal Jeevan Mission, every FHTC should provide an adequate quantity of water i.e., a minimum 55 lpcd of prescribed quality i.e., as per BIS: 10500 norms on daily basis.
Jal Sarothi Mobile Application will enable the state to assess the functionality, quantity, quality, and regularity of the FHTCs by the identified SHG members under ASRLM, Assam.
This will also help in creating Jan Andolan in the Society on Jal Jeevan Mission.
